Is White Willow Bark bad for you??

I just took two capsules of White Willow Bark to relieve some Muscle Pain and I’m starting to think it was a bad decision because I looked it up and found out that it’s pretty much the same thing as aspirin. I thought it would be better since it’s ‘natural’ and I really don’t like taking medicine even ibuprofen. Is it bad for you? should I steer clear next time? Thanks in advance!

I wouldn’t worry to much about it. White willow bark is a good aspirin substitute, which more or less means it will work kind of like aspirin but it natural and less harmful, unlike aspirin which can cause stomach irritation. White willow contains tannis, which are actually good for the digestive system. Other benefits are reduces inflammation and fever, relieves pain, good for neuralgia, and relieves swollen joints due to rheumatism and arthritis.
The thing to worry about when you take herbal remedies would be to make sure they wouldn’t interact with other medication you are on and by the sound of things you probably aren’t on anything else.
