Green tea has become well known in China during the Tang Dynasty (AD 618,907) and was quickly appreciated as a health and vitality. There is good evidence, however, that its many benefits already known to the elite for thousands of years by then. Let me put this in perspective though. A rule six to eight-ounce cup of green tea contains between 30 and 60 milligrams of caffeine. A similar size cup of coffee, probably contain more than 100 milligrams. So replace a couple of cups of regular coffee of the recommended four to five cups of green tea and caffeine levels would be maintained. But if you eliminate caffeine complete then decaffeinated green tea are becoming available.
