What kind of glasses are a foot eye relief?
I am purchasing a Mosin Nagant and does not want to spend all the money for this scope assembly that makes available to the side. So I wanted to buy this mount is that the scope as closer to the nose and below the butt. But if you I then need a scope with a distance of eye relief. Do you think it is worth buying the frame and scope (3-9X40) or somewhere in that range.
I have a Leupold Scout scope on a Marlin 1894 and is about 11 inches from my eyes. The only drawback is that this magnitude is a fixed power, 2.5X. (And the scope of Scouting only the bank had when I wanted.) Another brand Scout scope on page vi Leatherwood is Midway website. The price is reasonable, but do not know much about them, however, has optical variable. Www.midwayusa.com
